Paneer Makhanwala Recipe

Peshawari Chana Recipe: Peshawari Chana is a dish made with chickpeas cooked in a rich and aromatic gravy, reflecting the flavors and culinary traditions of the Peshawar region.

Ingredients

  • Paneer :- 250 gms

  • Fresh cream :- 200 gms

  • Butter :- 2-3 tbsp

  • Tomato puree (Tamatar raas) : – 200 gms

  • Fenugreek leaves (Methi) : – 2 tbsp

  • Red chili powder :- ½ tsp

  • Garam Masala : – ½ tsp

  • Green chili (Hari Mirchi) :- 2-3 nos

  • Salt :- as per taste

Directions

  • Take butter in the pan, melt it and add tomato puree, salt, green chilies, methi, and red chili powder. Keep sautéing it for close to 5 mns.
  • Add garam masala and cream; keep cooking for couple of mns.
  • Now add the paneer slices and keep cooking for a minute.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves.
