Paneer Makhanwala Recipe
Cuisine: PunjabiPeshawari Chana Recipe: Peshawari Chana is a dish made with chickpeas cooked in a rich and aromatic gravy, reflecting the flavors and culinary traditions of the Peshawar region.
Ingredients
Paneer :- 250 gms
Fresh cream :- 200 gms
Butter :- 2-3 tbsp
Tomato puree (Tamatar raas) : – 200 gms
Fenugreek leaves (Methi) : – 2 tbsp
Red chili powder :- ½ tsp
Garam Masala : – ½ tsp
Green chili (Hari Mirchi) :- 2-3 nos
Salt :- as per taste
Directions
- Take butter in the pan, melt it and add tomato puree, salt, green chilies, methi, and red chili powder. Keep sautéing it for close to 5 mns.
- Add garam masala and cream; keep cooking for couple of mns.
- Now add the paneer slices and keep cooking for a minute.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves.
