Ingredients
3 Cups cooked rice
1 Raw mango
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Turmeric
2 tsp Urad daal
2 tsp Chana daal
2 Green chilies
2 tsp Ground nuts
2 tsp Cashew nuts
4 Dry red chillies
5 Curry leaves
5 tsp Sesame seeds
5 tsp Oil
Salt to taste
Directions
- Mix grated mango, salt and turmeric to the cooked rice.
- Add half tsp of oil to prevent the rice from sticking.
- Take oil in a pan and heat it.
- Add all the seasoning ingredients along with green chillies.
- Add in sesame seeds powder when ingredients start to splutter.
- Mix properly and remove from the heat.
- Cool and add this masala to the rice.
- Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Mango Rice is ready to serve.
