Mooli Da Paratha Recipe
Cuisine: PunjabiMooli Da Paratha Recipe: Mooli Da Paratha is a popular Punjabi stuffed bread made with grated radish mixed with spices. It’s a delicious and wholesome dish commonly enjoyed in North India, especially during winters.
Ingredients
Radish :- 3
Salt to Taste
Red Chilli Powder :- ½ tsp
Coriander Powder :- ½ tsp
Green Chilli :- 2
Coriander Leaves :- 2 tbsp
For Dough:
Wheat Flour :- 2 cups
Salt to Taste
Water :- As needed
Oil for frying
Directions
- The wheat flour should be sieved and salted. Water should be added and it should be moulded into thick dough. It should then be covered and kept aside.
- The radish should be peeled and grated. All the water should be squeezed and drained.
- The pan should be heated and the radish should be fried till it turns deep brown. Red chilli powder, salt, green chillies and coriander leaves should be added and mixed well.
- Some dough should be taken and it should be rolled into small puris. After putting the stuffing into the puris, all the sides should be covered. It should then be rolled into thick and round parathas. They should then be left for cooling.
- Tava should be heated and the parathas should be fried till they b turn brown. Oil should thebe put over the parathas.
- The parathas should be served with curds or raitha.
