Potatoes are the starchy vegetable which is liked by old and young both. Potatoes give us good protection from Stomach ulcers, acidity and are generally said to be good for your heart.
Oil – 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
Potatoes – 1 medium peeled
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – ½ cup, cut
Cream – 4 tbsp
Chili powder – 1 tbsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Garam Masala – 1 tsp
Almonds and Pistachios mixed – ½ cup
Tomatoes pureed – 3 nos
Onions – 4 nos chopped
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Method Of Preparation
1)Slice a hole in each of the potato.
2)Stuff it with nuts that are mixed with coriander seeds and salt.
3)Close the potato with the potato pieces
4)Take a pan and heat the oil, put 2 – 3 potatoes in it till they are brown in color.
5)Remove it from the pan and keep it aside.
6)Take the same oil and add some cumin seeds
7)When they start spluttering, add Onion paste and keep frying till it is brown color.
8)Then add in the other ground spices along with ginger – garlic paste and tomatoes
9)Keep frying till the time; the oil gets separated from the paste. Then mix the potatoes and pour in ½ cup of water preferably hot
10) Keep stirring; to it add cream, sugar and salt. You need to do it till the potatoes are cooked well and the gravy has been blended.
